Winding Technology manufacture a comprehensive range of new winding machines for the production of coils and transformers using round or flat wires. A full range of accessories are available for the winding machines, including wire tensioners, insulation feeders, pressure rollers, etc. Our machines are fitted with our own PC control unit which is one of the most user-friendly systems on the market today.
We design and build special purpose multi axis machinery for winding filament, woven textile braids, textile / metallic mixtures, alloy wires, precious metals etc.

Winding Technology started in 1982. Our primary business at that time was the buying and selling of second hand machinery for the coil, motor & transformer manufacturing industries. Over the years we have built up our stock of used machinery and we now have a 1,500 m2 warehouse containing a large range of winding machinery and accessories.
We began to develop our own winding control systems to fit to the second hand machines that were very old or not working. The new control systems also brought the old machines up to a standard to comply with the current machine building regulations.
The natural progression of the company was to start manufacturing our own range of new machines and accessories. We now produce the WT300, WT500 WT1200 and WT3000 coil winding machines and a wide range of accessories including wire tensioners, insulation paper feeders.
